From Within is a martial arts revenge graphic novel about a slave fighting his way through a deadly tournament where the rules shift at the whims of a tyrannical emperor. It's a mash-up of the high-impact action sequences of Bruce Lee's films with the paranoid thriller undercurrent found in Ed Brubaker & Sean Phillips' Sleeper series.

Once in the nation of Xidan, a young boy was enslaved by a tyrannical emperor for his parents’ attempted coup. Punished for his parent’s deeds, he grows up craving revenge. Finally, comes his opportunity in the form of a yearly martial arts tournament that is hosted... in the kingdom. The winner of the competition gets the chance to fight the emperor and earn whatever their heart desires. For young Xu, this is his only chance at revenge, and he will do whatever it takes to get it, even if it costs him his life.

FROM WITHIN is written by Alex Breen, drawn by Renzo Podesta, colored by Bryan Valenza, with letters by DC Hopkins, this original graphic novel follows Xu’s journey of revenge as he enters this deadly tournament.
